Using integrated learning, students enhance their understanding and develop their ability, and the confidence, to present information that offers complete and logical structure. Through the integrative approach within the STREAM model, students gain mastery of subject content throughout the year as they explore topics that include multiple disciplines. Blessed Sacrament Catholic School utilizes the STREAM model Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Math. The experience they gain with each project leads them forward, step by step, in setting a strong foundation for the understanding of how, and why, we budget the use of time.Ĭontent and social development are two major focuses in the Fourth Grade. In addition to the knowledge they gain during this school year, they are given the opportunity to demonstrate both knowledge and time management skills by completing four projects, one per quarter. This year is dedicated to building the organizational skills needed to achieve long term goals.
